Mrs. Kotler was a classroom teacher and reading specialist in Berkley Public Schools; most of her teaching was at Burton Elementary School. She was a founding member of Congregation Beth Shalom, a lifetime member of Hadassah, a member of Alpha Delta Kappa professional edu- cational sorority and a member of the Institute for Retired Professionals. She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Mark Kotler of Blacklick, Ohio, and Burt and Batia Kotler of Israel; daughters and sons- in-law, Ellen Kotler and Don Rubin of West Bloomfield, and Shira "Sally" and Michael Chai of Israel; grand- children, Andrea Kotler, Katie Kotler, Joshua Rubin, Penina Rubin, Shahar Chai, Yonot Chai, Leore, Oron and Noa Kotler; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Anne Fleishman; sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Larkin Chanault; brother-in-law, Sam Fein; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
