The girls on the scavenger
hunt just want to have fun.

Friendship Circle volunteers have fun raising money and awareness.

F

riendship Circle teen presidents arranged a guys' dodge-
ball tournament Jan. 27 as a fundraising event. As part
of the event, the presidents spoke to their friends about
Friendship Circle and invited them to take part. Each teen
donated $20, which goes toward covering the expenses of teen
volunteer programs.
The teens divided into groups of five for a competitive and fun
dodgeball tournament. In total, 80 people competed in the tour-

nament in the Elkus Gym at the Friendship Circle. A follow-up
tournament will be held March 10 at Skyzone, also a project of
the teen president corps.
A second event, also put together by the teen president corps, was
an all-girls scavenger hunt around town. Two busloads of girls had a
blast spreading the message of the Friendship Circle, namely that of
inclusion and equality for all. Each teen brought $50 with her, with
the money again going toward teen volunteer programs.

Tequila and Talmud

W by do we wear masks on Purim,
and what "masks" do we fathers
wear throughout the year?
This was the conversation at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek's annual "Tequila and
Talmud: A Dad's Night Out" led by Rabbis
Joseph Krakoff and Aaron Starr.
