MIRIAM MONDRY, 91,
of Bloomfield Hills, died
Feb. 10, 2013.
She had a mas-
ter's degree in social
work and was a social
worker for the Detroit
Public Schools and
Mondry
Sinai Hospital She also
dedicated the Jewish Senior Life Building
(David and Miriam Mondry Building) in
Oak Park.
Mrs. Mondry is survived by her daugh-
ters and sons-in-law, Gale Mondry and
Bruce Cohen, and Dr. Carol Sue "Susu" and
Howard Fine; son and daughter-in-law,
Ira and Gail Mondry; grandchildren, Eli
and Aly Cohen, Paula and Ed Robertshaw,
Samuel Mondry-Cohen, Barry Mondry-
Cohen, Abraham Fine, Lillian Fine, Zeke
Fine, Adela Fine, Aaron Mondry, Jacob
Mondry and Nathan Mondry; great-grand-
daughter, Charlotte Cohen; sister-in-law,
Sheila Mondry and her children, Mitchell
and Diane Mondry Joshua and Beth
Mondry, and Andrew Mondry.
Mrs. Mondry was the beloved wife of
the late David Mondry; the loving sister
of the late Aaron Gornbein; the devoted
daughter of the late David and the late
Gertrude Gornbein; the dear sister-in-law
of the late Eugene Mondry.

Interment was at Adat Shalom Memorial
Park Cemetery. Contributions may be
made to Jewish Senior Life of Metropolitan
Detroit, David and Miriam Mondry Fund,

DR. WILLIAM
RUBINOFF, 84, of West
Bloomfield, died Feb. 4,
2013.
He is survived by his
beloved wife, Marcy
Rubinoff of West
Bloomfield; daughter
Rubinoff
and son-in-law, Kathy
and Robert Lieberman of Santa Cruz,
Calif.; son and daughter-in-law, Allan
Rubinoff and Susan Karcz; brother and
sister-in-law, Ira and Anabella Rubinoff of
Panama; sister and brother-in-law, Estalee
and Ronald Wolff of Florida; many loving
nieces, nephews, other loving family mem-
bers and friends.

National Council of Jewish Women or to a
charity of one's choice. Arrangements by
Dorfman Chapel.

LAWRENCE R. SINGER, 72, of Beverly

Hills, noted musician and composer, died
Dec. 27, 2012, at Beaumont Hospital.
He was the son of the late Dr. Nelson
and Mrs. Evelyn Singer. He is survived by
his stepmother, Gloria Singer; sister, Susan
(Dr. Peter) Haik; niece, Mishelle (David)
Weiner; nephew, Paul (Mandi Wolfes)
Miller; aunt, Rhea Albert; two great-nieces
and great-nephews; numerous cousins;
friend, Karen DiChiera.
Contributions may be made to the
Evelyn Marin Singer Scholarship Fund at
the U of M School of Music, the Michigan
Opera Theatre Department of Community
Programs or a charity of one's choice. A
memorial service will be announced at a
later date, and those wishing to partici-
pate should leave contact information at

Machpelah Cemetery in Ferndale.

DAVID ALAN URSU, 50, died Feb. 5,
2013.
He was the beloved husband of Allison
for 20 years. He is survived by parents, Dr
Louis Ursu and Mrs. Doris Ursu; father-
in-law, David Benigsohn (Deborah Cohn);
brother, Brian Ursu (Joan); nieces and
nephews, Leland, Olivia, Christopher and
Maggie; sister-in-law, Carrie Krauthamer
(Roy); niece and nephew, Ashley and Ryan;

every step of the way. No

FLORENCE WEINTROB, 91, of Oak
Park, died Feb. 5, 2013.
She is survived by her daughter and
son-in-law, Carol and Dr. Bernard Kirzner
of California; son and daughter-in-law, Dr.
Steven and Karen Weintrob of California;
grandchildren, Lisa Kirzner, Jonathan
Kirzner and Shira Freidlin, Dr. Chris
Weintrob, Dr. Debra Lugo and Elizabeth
Weintrob.
Mrs. Weintrob was the beloved wife for
69 years of the late Arthur Weintrob.
Interment was at Adat Shalom Memorial
Park. Contributions may be made to

Maple Road, West Bloomfield, MI 48322.

Correction
The obituary of Mary Fink (Feb. 7, page
61) should have stated that she was one of
13 children of Jacob and Anna Berghoff,
that her granddaughter Dr. Sheri Fink's
husband is Dr. Edward Broughton and that
her caregiver was Philaneice Cain.
