Mrs. Greenwald was the beloved wife
of the late Robert Greenwald; loving
companion of the late Andy Anderson;
sister of the late Arthur (late Tillie)
Dershwitz, the late Jack (the late Doris)
Dershow, the late Ralph Dershowitz.
Contributions may be made to Temple
Emanu-El or to a charity of one's choice.
Interment took place at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery in Birmingham. Arrangements
by Dorfman Chapel.

DANIEL MARTIN HONIGMAN, 79, of
Jupiter, Fla., passed away Jan. 24, 2013.
He was born in Detroit to Jason and
Edith Honigman. Mr. Honigman gradu-
ated from Wayne State Law School in
1956. He worked in the Honigman law
firm for a short time, moving on to
become chairman of the Van Dresser
Corporation. He ran Honigman family
investments for the remainder of his
career.
His longtime Jewish philanthropy
included a vice chairmanship of the
United Jewish Appeal and numerous
board seats, including the Weitzmann
Institute of Science.
Mr. Honigman was an award-winning
blue marlin fisherman. He had an
incredible wealth of knowledge, a will

that never quit and a biting sense of
humor. He was an extremely devoted
father, grandfather and friend. He will
be dearly missed by everyone he touched
in his lifetime.
He was the beloved brother of Julie
Levy. He is survived by his children,
Aaron, David and Kay Honigman; six
grandchildren; longtime companion,
Stacy Meschke.
Services were held privately.

American Jewish Joint Distribution
Committee or the United Jewish Appeal.

YAKOV KAUSHANSKIY, 84, of Oak
Park, died Feb. 6, 2013.
He is survived by his wife, Yevgeniya
Kaushankaya; daughter, Tamara
Gertsberg of Milford; grandchildren,
Polina and Steven Stryk, Mark and Luba
Gertsberg; great-grandchildren, Michael
Stryk, Alex Stryk, Daniel Stryk; brother-
in-law and sister-in-law, Boris and Anna
Friedman.
Mr. Kaushanskiy was the dear father-
in-law of the late Moisey Gertsberg.
Contributions may be made to a char-
ity of one's choice. Arrangements by
Hebrew Memorial Chapel.

FRANCES LORFEL, 91, of Southfield,
died Feb. 6, 2013.
She is survived by her sons and
daughters-in-law, Dr. Ronald and Jackie
Lorfel of Farmington Hills, Bruce Lorfel
of Southfield, David and Linda Lorfel of
Royal Oak; brother, Seymour Rothenberg
of Walled Lake; grandchildren, Elissa
(Rabbi Jason) Miller, Stephanie (Hylton)
Gelb, Andrea Lorfel, Stacy Lorfel; great-
grandchildren, Joshua, Jonah, Talya.
Mrs. Lorfel was the beloved wife of the
late Sidney Lorfel; sister-in-law of the late
Rose Rothenberg.
Contributions may be made to a char-
ity of one's choice. Interment took place
at Hebrew Memorial Cemetery in Clinton
Township. Arrangements by Dorfman
Chapel.

EDDIE MITTELDORF,
83 of West Bloomfield,
died Feb. 3, 2013.
He was born in Detroit
on July 22, 1929. He
graduated from Wayne
State University and had
a long career as a CPA
Mitteldorf
and later as the vice
president of finance for Fritz Enterprise.
He served in the U.S. Army during the

Korean War.
Mr. Mitteldorf is survived by his beloved
wife of 56 years, Lenore Mitteldorf; lov-
ing daughters and son-in-law, Shelly Kraft
of Farmington Hills, Carol and Bruce
Benderoff of Bloomfield Hills; adoring
grandchildren, Nicole, Ryan and Jason
Kraft, Lauren and Emily Benderoff.
He was the devoted son of the late
Anna and the late Osias Mitteldorf; cher-
ished brother of the late Helen (Dan)
Blackstone, Bertha (Phillip) Cohen, Morris
(Ida) Mitteldorf, Tom (Ann) Mitteldorf,
Florence (Mack) Halper, and Sadie (Sam)
Sike. He is also survived by loving nieces
and nephews (the Cousin's Club), and
many other family members and friends.
Interment was held at Beth Abraham
Cemetery. Contributions may be made to
