Jan. 26, 2013.
Mr. Nachbar
d UST received his mas-
er= ter's degree in
mechanical engi-
neering from Technische Universitat
Munchen (Germany's MIT) and was
chief mechanical engineer and vice
president of Albert Kahn Architects.
He is survived by his wife of 61
years, Rae Nachbar; daughter and
son-in-law, Ann Nachbar and David
Frenkel of Falls Church, Va.; son
and daughter-in-law, Dr. James and
Renee Nachbar of Medford, N.J.;
grandchildren, Daniel, Sam and
Rachel Frenkel, Leslie, Danielle and
Jordan Nachbar; brother-in-law
and sisters-in-law, Mark and Ruth
Webber, and Ann Leikach.
Mr. Nachbar was the devoted son
of the late Jacob and the late Anna
Nachbar; the cherished brother of
the late Lusia Nachbar.
Interment was at Machpelah

MAY SHORR, 85,
of South Pasadena,
Fla., passed away
Jan. 13, 2013.
She was born on
May 30, 1927, in
Detroit.
Mrs. Shorr is

survived by two children, Debby
(and husband Bernie), and Dan (and
wife Sharon). In addition are her
grandchildren, Lily, Mikey, Nicole
and Matt (Angie), who all meant the
world to her.
She was preceded in death by
her husband, Mickey; and her son,
Hank; along with siblings, Lil, Pearl,
Johnny and Benny.
She dreamed of seeing her grand-
son Mikey in the perfect living
opportunity. To assist in fulfilling
that dream, the family requests con-
tributions to the Williams Syndrome
Association (Special Housing
Initiative), 570 Kirts Blvd., #223,

STEVEN
LAWRENCE
SINGER, 48, died
Jan. 30, 2013, an
absolutely amazing
man tragically
taken from the ones
he loved and cared

about.
He was born July 8, 1964. Mr.
Singer grew up in West Bloomfield
and moved to Arizona in 1978. After
graduating from Chaparral High
School, he earned a business degree
from Northern Arizona University.
He was an accomplished entrepre-
neur and CEO of Fusion Contact
Centers. His passions included
mountain trail running and Nastar
National Championship ski racing.
He was a positive influence on his
children and family; his legacy will
live on through them and the many
lives he touched.
Mr. Singer is survived by his high
school sweetheart and the love of
his life for 24 years, Lisa; and his
sons, Ryan, 18, and Cory, 16, whom
he loved very much. He also is sur-
vived by his loving parents, Judy and
Bobby Singer of Palm Springs, Calif.;
brother, Scott; sister, Shari, both of
Phoenix, Ariz.; grandmother, Helene
Raisin of Florida; his loving in-laws,
Sandy and Jerry Levy of Scottsdale;
many other close family members;
his precious dog, Gracie.
Services were held in Phoenix.

Feb. 3, in Phoenix. More than 1,200
people attended. Arrangements by
