Tamarack

donor willing to match all new
contributions between $36-$100,
board members are confident they
can reach their ambitious goal of
acquiring 180 new donors in 180
days.
"The Tamarack180 Campaign is
the perfect opportunity for young
adults, specifically alumni, to make
a difference said Gross. "No mat-
ter how much money you donate,
as long as it is above $36, a donor
will match it. This makes it incredi-
bly easy for a younger demographic
of alumni to give back"
As a new homeowner and newly-
wed, no one knows better than I do
the stress of parting with money.
But Tamarack180 is a cause I can
unreservedly support because it
allows you to stretch a dollar. Not
only will any donation over $36 be
matched, but an extra $100 will be
tacked on for any donation over
$100. That means a $101 donation
is really worth $201.
Donors can rest assured that
every dollar goes directly to
the Send a Kid to Tamarack
Scholarship Fund, said Deena
Lockman, director of development
at Tamarack Camps.
That means keeping the
Tamarack dream alive for poten-
tially hundreds of children, while
instilling in young adults a culture
of tzedakah and mitzvot, said
Gross.
"Chances are alumni and young
adults are not already donors:' she
said. "It's crucial they step up now
and donate so they can not only
have an impact on future camp-
ers, but also to begin to give to this
community and be inspired by the
mitzvah of giving tzedakah."
