MURRAY GARMEL, 91, of West

Bloomfield, died Jan. 21, 2013.
A World War II Army veteran,
Mr. Garmel was a member of the
Irwin Steinberg Post of Jewish War
Veterans.
He is survived by his daughter and
son-in-law, Candice and William
Marra of Farmington Hills; brother
and sister-in-law, Harold and Donna
Garmel of West Bloomfield; grand-
children, Shawn, Scott, Stacy.
He was predeceased by his wife of
66 years, Evelyn Garmel, who died
Jan. 17, 2013.
Contributions may be made to
Yad Ezra, 2950 W. 11 Mile, Berkley,
MI 48072. Services were held in the
David Oppenheim Memorial Chapel
at Machpelah Cemetery in Ferndale,
followed by interment. Arrangements
by Hebrew Memorial Chapel.

KRASHIN, 85, of

West Bloomfield,
died Jan. 17, 2013.
He is survived by
his beloved wife,
Dorothy Krashin of
West Bloomfield;
Dorothy's sons and daughter-in-law,
Allan Kaplan of West Bloomfield,
Arnold and Cassandra Kaplan of
West Bloomfield; Dorothy's daughters
and sons-in-law, Susanne (Richard
Thomas) Gantz of Long Island,
N.Y., Shelly and Ronald Morrison of
Farmington Hills; Dorothy's grand-
children, Adam (Jill) Gantz, Darryl
(Debbie) Kaplan, Loren Morrison,
Jenica (Jeff) Gunsburg, Kari (Ilya)
Stein, Josh Kaplan, Linda Kaplan;
nine great-grandchildren; many other
loving family members and friends.
Mr. Krashin was preceded in death
by Mason Gantz, Dorothy's grandson.
Contributions may be to a char-
ity of one's choice. Arrangements by
Dorfman Chapel.
