The Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit is
currently seeking a Coordinator for the 18-month pilot
program, Baby U. This part-time (20 hour) position
will work closely with the Federation's JEFF, FedEd
and NEXTGen Departments to create and implement
programming that will attract, connect and engage
parents with young children and potential parents to the
Jewish community.
Candidates applying should have
the following qualifications:
• Expertise in the field of early childhood education.
• Preferred BA in early childhood education or other
related field.
• Knowledge and experience in Jewish practice,
education and the Detroit Jewish community.
• Ability to find and attract parents of young children
and potential parents.
• Ability to connect young couples to events,
programs and services.
• Collaborate with congregations and agencies.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate programming
for children and parents.
• Creative, energetic and able to think "outside
the box."
