Acker-Fell

L

auren Patricia Fell and Jordan
Benjamin Acker were recently mar-
ried at Cafe Brauer, an event space
in the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago. Rabbi
Debra Newman Kamin officiated.
Jordan is the son of Caryn and Jerry Acker
of Huntington Woods. Lauren is the daughter
of Bonnie Podolsky of Chicago, and David Fell
and Amy Zussman of Northbrook, Ill.
Participating in the ceremony were the
groom's grandparents, Shirley and Fred
Green, and Marilyn and Edwin Acker, and
the bride's grandparents, Milton and Lois
Podolsky.
Jordan's groomsmen included his cousins, Jared and Evan; Lauren's brides-
maids included Jordan's sister, Lindsay, and Lauren's sister, Sarah.
Following a honeymoon in Spain and Portugal, the couple reside in
Washington, D.C.

Brickner-Fischer

N

eal Brickner of West Bloomfield
is delighted to announce the
engagement of his daugh-
ter Paula Rebekah to Dr. Daniel Collen
Fischer, son of Joni and Dr. Fred Fischer of
Farmington Hills.
Paula graduated from Michigan State
University with a bachelor of science
degree in nutritional sciences. She received
her master in public health degree at the
University of Michigan and is a registered
dietitian.
Daniel graduated from Michigan State
University with a bachelor of science in
human biology. He earned his doctor of
dental surgery degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and
is a dentist at Fischer Family Dentistry in Garden City.
A May wedding is planned at Adat Shalom Synagogue in Farmington Hills;
the couple will reside in Michigan.

Fishman-Wittenberg

baron Fishman and Joel Wittenberg
were recently married at the
Townsend Hotel in Birmingham.
Rabbi Marla Hornsten of Temple Israel offi-
ciated.
They were honored to have their children,
Rachel and Emily Fishman, and Max and
Anna Wittenberg, in attendance, along with
their parents, Ida and Henry Glass, and
Audrey and Stephen Wittenberg.
The couple will honeymoon this fall in
France and now reside in Kalamazoo.
