Bloomfield Township. Sam is the son of proud parents Dr.
Michael and Nancy Stone and older brother of Drew. Also
excited are grandparents Judy and Richard Komer of
Bloomfield Hills, and Dr. Allen and Annette Stone of West
Bloomfield.
Sam is a seventh-grade student at Norup International
School in Oak Park. His most meaningful mitzvah project
was delivering Chanukah packages to senior citizens.

im Loovis and David Kayes were
recently married in Portland,
Ore., sharing this happy occasion
with their immediate families.
Kim is the daughter of Mary Loovis of
Tacoma, Wash., and the late Carl Loovis.
She graduated from Western Washington
University and is an occupational therapist.
David is the son of Linda and Dennis
Kayes of Huntington Woods. He has degrees
from UC-Berkeley and MIT, is an engineer
at Daimler Trucks and is completing a law
degree.
The couple reside in Portland.

Rakusin-Zwickl

heri Rakusin and Josh Zwickl were
married in Dallas, Texas, by Rabbi
Mendel Dubrawsky.
They were joined under the chuppah by
their parents, Hedley and Lynette Rakusin,
and Tim and Sara Zivian Zwickl, as well
as siblings, Lisa and Mark Goldberg, Tracy
Rakusin, Becky Zwickl and David Zwickl.
Leo and Sylvie Goldberg, the couple's neph-
ew and niece, and grandparents Etta Zivian,
Patricia and George Zwickl also participated.
Josh and Sheri will visit Granny Rakusin
when they honeymoon in South Africa.
They reside in Chicago.
