ANN

SANDRA S. GOODMAN, 71, of West
Bloomfield, died Dec. 22, 2012.
She was a member and supporter of
Mizrachi, JARC, Hillel Day School and
B'nai B'rith. Mrs. Goodman was also a
life member of Hadassah and an active
participant at Congregation Shaarey
Zedek and Congregation Beth Ahm.
She is survived by her son and daugh-
ter-in-law, Gene and Sherri Goodman of
Bloomfield Hills; sisters, Shirley Savage,
Donna Himmelspach Kaufman, Nancy
Tyner; grandchild, Will Goodman;
many loving nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends.
Mrs. Goodman was the beloved
wife for 37 years of the late William
Goodman; loving mother of the late
Tamara Goodman; dear sister of the late
Donald Barr, the late Patricia Coffman,
the late Stuart Stein and the late Charles
Stein.
Contributions may be made to JARC,
30301 Northwestern Hwy., Farmington
Hills, MI 48334; or to a charity of one's
choice. Interment was at Oakview
Cemetery in Royal Oak Arrangements
by Hebrew Memorial Chapel.

LUCILLE GORDON,
85, of Farmington
Hills, died Dec. 22,
2012.
She is survived by
her beloved husband,

son-in-law, Beth and Jim Holmes of
Woodland Hills, Calif.; sister, Sharon

loving nieces, nephews, other family
members and friends.
Mrs. Gordon was the sister of the late
Doris (the late Harold) Levin, and the
late Arnold (the late Loretta) Mandel.

at Machpelah Cemetery in Ferndale.

PEARL GOUTMAN,
95, of West

19, 2012.
She is survived her

She is also survived by several genera-
tions of devoted cousins, nieces, neph-
ews, other loving family members and
friends.
Mrs. Goutman was the beloved wife
of the late Emanuel Goutman; sister
of the late Milton (the late Mary Ann)
Rose, Irene (the late Lewis ) Bardos, Lou
Rose, Eugene (the late Florence) Rose,
Ruth (the late Lenny) Gross, Helen (the
late Alex) Klein, the late Edith Rose;
sister-in-law of the late Max Feldman.

Alzheimer's Association or to a char-
ity of one's choice. Interment took
place at Clover Hill Park Cemetery
in Birmingham. Arrangements by

LEONARD
HERMAN, 86, of
Oak Park, died Dec.
24, 2012.
His career began
as a typesetter and
print salesman,
which led to his
ownership of Whitsel
and Company and
Leonard Graphics.
Mr. Herman loved the Cabin on the
Lake in Lapeer and the time spent
there with family and friends and Mr.
Chicken.
He was a World War II veteran who
fought in three different theaters. After
the war, he went back to the Philippines
to rebuild the synagogue.
Mr. Herman is survived by his wife
of 64 years, Sondra Herman; daughter
and son-in-law, Karin Herman-Preiss
and Tom Preiss; sons and daughter-
in-law, Howard and Terri Herman and
David Herman; grandchildren, Charles
and Marcy Herman, and Erik Herman;
great-grandchildren, Todd, Samantha
and Makenzy Sara Herman, and Derek
Gapczynski; brother, Martin Herman
and his family; and his late sister's fam-
ily.
Mr. Herman was the devoted son
of the late Henry and the late Leah
Herman; the loving brother of the late
Theresa Bookman; the dear brother-in-
law of the late Judith Herman.
