Every day, we look forward to receiving new submissions for our cover art contest, and each new submission puts us more in the holiday spirit. When "voting day" comes, everybody in the office stops what they're doing to come into our conference room and admire the creativity and talent evident in the artwork we receive each year. "We love it. We think our annual art contest is really special, and we take pride in it," says Deborah Schultz, IN creative direc- tor. "That's why this year we expanded it online, so more people in the community have the chance to vote for their favorites like we do:' Schultz gets to choose the grand prize winner. She said she looks for originality, creativity, subject matter and evidence that the artwork was created by the child without much help from grownups or the use of store-bought materials. "When I saw this year's winning submission, 'Captain Chanukah: I was smitten by its originality and creativity and the thought that went into it," Schultz says. "We're probably more excit- ed than he is," says Ellen, who says it was exciting to watch Adam as he worked on his submission.
