she celebrates her
bat mitzvah. She is

the daughter of
Michelle and Mark
Lichtman and the sister of Zachary,
Hope and Chase. Sharing in the sim-
chah will be proud grandparents
Christine Skilling, and Rita and Robert
Lichtman. The family is especially
delighted to have great-grandmother
Florence Yutzey joining in the festivi-
ties.
Maggie attends Sarah Banks Middle
School in Walled Lake. Among her
many mitzvah projects, she felt helping
at the Hospitality House in Commerce
was the most meaningful.

and David Schneyer,
and Joseph Olson,
will celebrate her bat
mitzvah Saturday,
Dec. 1, at Temple
Israel in West
Bloomfield. She is

the sister of Riley and Patsy, Ben, Jacob
and Andrew. Her grandparents are
Darlene and Charles Sharpe, and
Marsha and Sherwin Schneyer. She is
also the grandchild of the late Marjorie
and Kenneth Olson.
Kelsey is a student at Orchard Lake
Middle School in West Bloomfield.
Her most meaningful mitzvah project
is Defeat the Label; she donated funds
to them for the new Bully App.

Shecter was called

to the Torah as a bat
mitzvah on Saturday,
Nov. 24, at

Congregation B'nai
Moshe in West

Bloomfield. She is
the daughter of
Michael and Kitty Shecter and sister of
Celia and Joseph. Her grandparent is
Joann Shecter. Adina is also the grand-
daughter of the late Benjamin Shecter,
the late Paul Cadieux and the late Joyce
Cadieux.
Adina attends O.E. Dunckel Middle
School in Farmington Hills. She par-
ticipated in the March of Dimes, which
benefits babies that are born prema-
turely.

Copley 50th

ruce and Norma Copley of
Commerce Township, who were
married Oct. 21, 1962, celebrated
their 50th wedding anniversary with their
children, Dr. Kevin Copley of Buffalo Grove,
Ill., Steven Copley of Novi, Jason and Cheryl
Copley of West Bloomfield; sister and
brother-in-law, Ken and Rona Boyer of West
Bloomfield; and their grandchildren, Rachel,
Rebecca, Jacob, Molly, Lily, Sophie, Madison
and Jack. The couple will take a cruise in
December to celebrate.
