Jewish Sports Hall of Fame bestows its annual kudos to Michigan athletes.

he Michigan Jewish Sports Hall
of Fame held its annual induction
dinner and festivities on Oct. 22
at the Jewish Community Center in West
Bloomfield.
Highlights of the evening included
Erwin "Itsy" Lieberman receiving the
Alvin Foon Humanitarian Award, the
induction of Daniel Cohen, Lynda
Goldstein Benit, Jamie Silverstein, Herb
Brown and Storm Kirschenbaum and the
introduction of the inaugural class of the
Pillars of Excellence.
