THINKING ABOUT SELLING?

Well, get busy. The first buyers that come through your home are your

best prospects, so your house needs to be in tip-top shape before you

put it up for sale. Don't even have any repairs "in progress." You'll get

the best price and the quickest sale for a house that is turn-key ready
to go.

The look and smell of your house is critical. It's amazing how many

people don't even make their beds! Put yourself in the buyer's shoes.

Preparing your home to sell is kind

of like getting it ready for a party —

except the party can last for weeks ...

even months!

Try to remember what your house was like when you walked through
it for the first time. Have you repaired/replaced those things that

bothered you — way back then? In any home, there are always things

that need tweaking — a leaky faucet, a missing knob, chipped paint.

Once you've "lived with" these little annoyances long enough, you get

used to them and fail to see them. Buyers, however, will notice them
right away.
