■ Above: Andy and Linda proudly stand in an empty Birmingham home after an obviously successful estate sale. Left: Andy shaking hands and accepting payment from John Roselli of Bloomfield Hills for they want us to sell. We pride ourselves on staging the home to present it in the best possible way." Calling Andy and Linda a pinnacle of professionalism in the rare air of high- profile estate liquidations is an under- statement. Pre-sale preparation includes posting photographs of sale items on Estatesales.net, the industry website to be viewed locally and nationally, bringing in buyers from all over the country. "An important part of our process is taking care of our clients, making sure they're not adversely affected and that nothing is damaged," Andy said. "In most cases, these homes are sold and belong to new owners. We honor the home, first and foremost." Sales are held Friday through Sun- day. A limited number of shoppers are allowed to enter the home at any given time. As items are sold, areas of the home are closed off. Everything Goes puts on a "thought- ful, measured estate sale," said Andy, noting that, "if priced accurately, there is no need for 50 percent off the last day... that's for amateurs." Only Everything Goes has professional movers for transporting furniture to the purchaser's address. "We can deliver that dining room set or grand piano to a shopper's home within hours on the same day," Andy said. This service makes selling large items more likely, benefiting clients and shoppers, and avoids possible damage to the home. On the Monday following a completed sale, Everything Goes donates any unsold items at their client's request, provides proper documentation to substantiate the donation and then oversees the removal. The house is then empty and clean and ready for the new Andy taking a picture of items that will offered at homeowners. Says author Brian Shell, in a testimo- nial to Everything Goes professionalism: "As a neutral party for a high-profile client I met a month ago, this past week- end I was witness to Andy's staff playing at the top of their game in the posh neighborhood of Bloomfield Hills. "Honestly, I was awed ... and im- pressed. It was an honor and a privilege to watch them work. Simply...magic. Tough-as-nails negotiators, too! His team had people lined up outside the door and then coming back each day for more," he wrote. "I give Andrew Adelson and his team at Everything Goes my highest recommendation." Positive word of mouth is why Bruce and Lori Abramson of Commerce Town- ship hired Everything Goes to do a sum- mertime estate sale. Team Adelson gets their vote. "They were passionate about what they were doing, very thorough, and we appreciated their kindness helping us through the process." Bruce said. "We'd hire them again." Dignity. Honor. Class.
