he was stationed in the

Mr. Goldfarb is survived by his wife
of 65 years, Ruthe Goldfarb; sons and
daughter-in-law, David Goldfarb of Great
Barrington, Mass., Richard and Marjorie
Goldfarb of Seattle, Wash.; daughter and
son-in-law, Carol Goldfarb and Fritz Ruehr
of Salem, Ore.; sisters and brother-in-law,
Sharon Lynn Mayer of Redmond, Wash.,
Sandra Resnick of West Bloomfield,
Robert Kannon; grandchildren, Kate
Goldfarb, Emily Goldfarb, Philip Goldfarb,
Freya Rueher, Talia Ruehr.

died Oct. 24, 2012.
She is survived by her sons, Dr. Ivan
Green of Farmington Hills, Peter Green of
Sundland, Calif.; many loving nieces and
nephews.
Mrs. Green was the beloved wife of the
late Alexander Green; dear sister of the
late Moshe Alpan, the late Ella Foltyn, the
late Shoshana Yaar.

Oak Park, died Oct. 27,
2012.
She is survived by
her daughter, Melinda
Gruenberg of Cincinnati,
Ohio; brother and sister-
in-law, Howard and
Irene Hersh; nephew, Allen Hersh; niece,
Marla (Phillip) Wills; great-nephews,
Grant Wills and Daniel Wills; many other
loving family members and friends.
Mrs. Gruenberg was the daughter of the
late Irving and the late Sara Hersh.

Michigan Humane Society or to a char-
ity of one's choice. Interment took place
at the Machpelah Cemetery in Ferndale.

During the coming week, the students of Yeshiva Beth Yehudah
