EDITH GANTZ, 93,
of Orlando, Fla., for-
merly of Michigan,
died Oct. 16, 2012.
She was a member
of Hadassah. She also
participated in the
Williamsburg Temple
Gantz
Choir and was a
Brownie leader and a Cub Scout leader.
Mrs. Gantz is survived by her son
and daughter-in-law, Mark Loren and
Toby Gantz of Waterford; daughter
and son-in-law, Sheree Hope and
Richard Green of Orlando; sister and
brother-in-law, Aviva and Eli Minoff
of Israel; sister-in-law, Blanche Gantz;
grandchildren, Amy and Todd Gers,
Rikki and Amit Ofek, Adam and Gypsy
Modina Greenstein, Shawn and Tony
Payne, Michael Green, Lindsay Green;
great-grandchildren, Jacob Gers, Ethan
Gers and Axle Greenstein.
Mrs. Gantz was the beloved wife for
61 years of the late George Gantz; dear
sister and sister-in-law of the late Evelyn
and the late Alvin Singer, the late Dana
and the late Marty Ament, the late Harry
Gantz, the late Dr. Maurice and the late
Lee Gantz, the late Peggy and the late
Harry Morris, the late Jean and the late
Abe Elman, the late Evelyn and the late
Dr. Milton Joseph, the late Benjamin and
the late Dorothy Gantz, the late Dr. Irwin
and the late Rose Gantz, the late Anna
and the late Clarence Cann.
Contributions may be made to
Temple Shir Shalom, 3999 Walnut Lake
Road, West Bloomfield, MI 48323; or
Tamarack Camps, 6735 Telegraph Road,
Bloomfield Hills, MI 48301. Interment
was at Clover Hill Park Cemetery in
Birmingham. Arrangements by Hebrew
Memorial Chapel.

RAYMOND JONAS, 84, of West
Bloomfield, died Oct. 17, 2012.
He is survived by his beloved wife,
Marilyn Jonas of West Bloomfield;
sons and daughters-in-law, Michael
and Barbara Jonas of Bingham
Farms, Larry and Patricia Jonas of
Troy, Gary Jonas; daughters and
son-in-law, Barbara Nalian of Troy,
Marilyn and Christopher Schulte of
West Bloomfield; sister and brother-
in-law, Harriet and Harry Garden
of West Bloomfield; grandchildren,
Melanie (Travis) Wright, Stacey (Seth)
Wiesenthal, Daniel Jonas, Thomas
Nalian, Eric Nalian, Andrew Nalian,
Sarah Schulte, Brian Schulte; many
loving cousins, nieces, nephews, other
family members and friends.
Contributions may be made to
JARC, c/o the Schechter Fund or to
a charity of one's choice. Interment
took place at the Hebrew Memorial
Park Cemetery in Clinton Township.
