The fair was implemented after
involvement in a unique program.
"For the past two years, Kol
Ami has been involved in the
Congregational School Improvement
Initiative (CSI2)," Jahr said. "The
work we have put into this initiative
produced a new mission and vision
and goals. Our three areas of focus
are experiential education opportuni-
ties, to increase engaging family pro-
gramming and to continue building
community."
She said the fair "allowed our entire
school community to come together
to meet the objectives set because of
the CSI2 process."
The fair ended on a sweet and
meaningful note as participants got
to the end of the road.
"Families continued along the path
and ended at a bucket of honey sticks
for a sweet new year," Jahr said. "And
bubble giveaways were handed out to
`blow away mistakes.—
