Israel. He was active in many Jewish
causes, including B'nai B'rith, the
Israel Cancer Society and Meals
on Wheels. He was a devoted and
beloved member of the health club
at the Jewish Community Center's
Oak Park campus. He recently cel-
ebrated his 90th birthday at a fam-
ily party in his honor.
Mr. Kupfer is survived by his
cherished wife of 63 years, Stefa;
his children, Irene and Daniel Biber
of Huntington Woods, Bob Kupfer
and Dave Weir of Bloomfield Hills,
and Marilyn and Aaron Kales of
Orchard Lake; devoted sister-in-
law, Nina Sprecher. He was a loving
uncle. He will be missed by his
precious grandchildren, Rebecca
Biber, and Gabriel Biber and his
fiancee Nichole Keway, and Andrew
and Kara Kales; and by his great-
granddaughter, Pearl Biber.
Interment was at Hebrew
Memorial Park. Contributions may
be made to Yad Ezra, the Holocaust
Memorial Center, the JCC Health
Club or a charity of one's choice.
