Dancing With The Stars
Detroit's six dancers were perfect,
earning a medal in every event they
entered. They brought home 12 golds
and two bronzes in hip-hop, lyrical
and jazz.
"They're good dancers. They're all
on studio dance teams," said parent
Tracey Stulberg, who accompanied the
girls to New York.

Gabrielle Dulberg, 15, a
Birmingham Seaholm High School
student, and Emma Fellows, 14,
who attends North Farmington High
School, each won three medals.
Autumn Jacobs, 15, who goes to _
Frankel Jewish Academy in West
Bloomfield, won two medals and a
student choreography award.
Annie Slabotsky, 16, from Frankel;
Kara Unitin, 15, from Berkley High
School; and Abby Weiner, 14, from
North Farmington, each won two med-
als.
Coach Lisa Redmond couldn't make
the trip.
There were about 30 girls in the
dance competition.

Good 'Four' Them
First-year coach Michelle Ellis said her
Detroit girls soccer team set a goal of

finishing in the top four in its competi-
tion. Detroit placed fourth. Mission
accomplished.
