Harold (Marty) and Judy Martens, and
Milburn and Bridget Lame.
Raphael is a student at Hillel Day
School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. For his project, he
volunteered at Yad Ezra in Berkley.

Camryn Eve Otis

became a bat mitz-
vah on Saturday,
Sept. 8, at Adat
Shalom Synagogue
in Farmington Hills.
Cami is the daughter
Otis
of Bonnie (Faudem)
and David Otis and
the sister of Bradley, Kyle and the late
Evan Tyler Otis. Proud grandparents
are Elaine Faudem, Diane Otis and
Maurice Otis. She is also the grand-
daughter of the late Rodney Faudem.
Camryn attends Hillel Day School
of Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington
Hills. Her most meaningful charity
project is helping with the Housing
the Homeless program at Adat Shalom
Synagogue.

r. Robert Salamon of Novi and
Lilly Salamon of Farmington
Hills announce the engage-
ment of their daughter Julia Irene Salamon
of Manhattan to Peter Arthur Balfour
Lafferty, also of Manhattan, son of Michael
and Valerie Lafferty of Okemos.
The couple met at MSU, where Julia gradu-
ated with a degree in textile and fashion
design, and Peter graduated with a degree in
international studies. Julia then studied fash-
ion at F.I.T. in New York, and Peter obtained
an M.B.A. from DePaul.
Pete and his brothers Matt of Chicago and
Adam of Los Angeles have formed a company, LiberoFerrero.com , designing
and manufacturing luxury men's handbags and accessories, for which Julia is the
designer.
Pete's grandparents Libero and Audry Ferrero of Gladwin, and Catherine
Lafferty of Farmington Hills will help celebrate an end-of-the-summer wedding
in northern Michigan.

How To Submit Announcements

Mazel Tov! announcements are welcomed for members of the Jewish
community. Anniversaries, engagements and weddings with a photo
(preferably color) can appear at a cost of $18 each. Births are $10.
There is no charge for bar/bat mitzvahs or for special birthdays starting
at the 90th.
