Arrangements by Ira Kaufman Chapel. DR. JACK KAUFMAN, 79, of Clarkston, died Aug. 22, 2012. He practiced internal medicine and as an aller- gist in the Detroit Kaufman area for more than 50 years. After graduating Phi Beta Kappa from Wayne State University, he was accepted early to the Wayne State University School of Medicine, graduating at the top of his class. He was a member of the distinguished medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha in 1957. Dr. Kaufman loved classical music, the arts, traveling and was an avid reader. His love of gardening was exemplified by the beautiful foliage and trees he cultivated.
