And now, after four days, he has four rounds on his resume on four courses he'd never seen before. Because he was the only Detroit golfer, he didn't have a coach with him. And he had just seven golf clubs, including a putter, in his golf bag. But the 13-year-old loved the Maccabi experience on and off the course. And he won a silver medal in team match play. He also finished second in closest-to-the-pin contests on back-to-back days, and he placed sixth in individual stroke play. "That was fun. I'd like to play golf at the Maccabi Games again:' the Orchard Lake Middle School eighth- grader said.
