SIDNEY ROSENBERG, 79, of Bloomfield Hills, died Aug. 19, 2012. Anyone who knew this warm and gentle man was privileged. When he spoke, his words were meaning- Rosenberg ful, sincere and full of wisdom. wHe was the most generous and humble man. As a prominent business- man with drugstores and college campus stores located throughout the Midwest and in Tempe, Ariz., Sid characteristically credited his good fortune to his family and friends who surrounded him. Sid was an avid fan and supporter of Michigan State University in both aca- demic areas and sporting events. He rare- ly missed a MSU game. He was known for his infectious laugh that warmed any room and a smile that shone from East Lansing to Detroit. He welcomed every- one to join his tailgate parties. There was no such thing as a bad day. Although he faced health challenges, he always main- tained a positive outlook on life. His grandchildren would often say "Papa, you rock — and you are the best." Sid will be deeply missed by his family, and he will forever hold a special place of love in their hearts.
