Never-Ending

Fun

Ganeinu campers

splash, bake, somersault

and giggle their way

through summer.

L

ocated in the heart of West
Bloomfield on a 5-acre oasis with
a state-of- the-art playground and
outdoor theater, Ganeinu Day Camp has
been providing day camp programming
for children from a wide spectrum of the
Jewish community for 24 years.
What makes Ganeinu unique is its focus
on Jewish education and identity. Staff
members serve as role models of Jewish
leadership. In addition to local counselors,
the staff this year comes from New York,
Arizona, Oklahoma and Argentina.
This year, they also had visiting camp-
ers from Australia, Cancun, China,
Philadelphia, St. Louis and Sweden.

Golf Classic

Perfect weather,

interesting auction items

draw a crowd to Kadima

fundraiser.

F

or the 11th consecutive year,
Kadima hosted its annual Golf
Classic. On July 13, Franklin
Hills Country Club provided a perfect
venue for more than 150 Kadima sup-
porters who came to golf, enjoy a barbe-
cue lunch, indulge in a gourmet dinner
and bid on silent and live auction items.
Co-chairs Eli Saulson and Keith
Lewis worked with a strong
committee of volunteers who made
this day an outstanding success.
Perfect summer weather kept the
golfers on the greens. Auction items
brought excitement — a signed Bruce
Springsteen guitar, framed and auto-
graphed Beatles memorabilia and a day
on an 85-foot yacht. All proceeds will
benefit the Milton and Lois Zussman
Activity Center at Kadima.
