Bebe Neuwirth has appeared on stage (as Morticia in The Addams Family), on television (as the Jewish, like Neuwirth, Lilith Sternin on Cheers) and in film (as Countess di Frasso in Bugsy). Her latest starring role is in Stories with Piano, a one- woman show in which Neuwirth sings favorite songs of Kurt Weill, Stephen Sondheim and many others. She brings the show to the Berman Center for the Performing Arts at 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1. Neuwirth made her Broadway debut in 1980 and just released her first CD, Porcelain. She has received Tony Awards, Emmy Awards, the Dance Magazine Award and many others.
