ROBERT BLANK, 89, of
Bloomfield Hills, died
Aug. 11, 2012.
Mr. Blank was the
founder of the Michigan-
based Franklin Group
Inc., a manufactured
housing communities

company and retailer
of manufactured and
modular homes. He loved to travel the
world and enjoy golf at his winter home in
Wellington, Fla.
Mr. Blank is survived by his loving
wife of 60 years, Udas (Yourofsky) Blank;
daughters and son-in-law, Barbara and
Roger Trunsky of Birmingham; sons and
daughters-in-law, Ronald and Kathy Blank
of Bloomfield Hills, Andrew and Beth
Blank of Franklin; grandchildren, Jacob,
Zachary and Leah Trunsky, Ryan, Steven
and David Blank; many loving nieces,
nephews, other family members and
friends.

HELEN COVILLE, 90,
of Farmington Hills,
died Aug. 12, 2012.
She was a teacher in
Oak Park Schools for 35
years.
Mrs. Coville is sur-

Rodney and Victoria

and Diane Traurig, and Joanne and Steve
Levine; sister, Ruth Traurig.
She was the cherished sister of the late
Walter Goodman; the devoted daughter

MELVIN DALBOW, 92,
of West Bloomfield, died
Aug. 11, 2012.
Born in Salem, N.J.,
July 19, 1920, he was
the youngest of eight
children; he remained
young and youthful all of
Dalbow
his days.
"He was the youngest 92-year-old you
would ever meet," said Lila Lazarus, whose
mother, Evelyn Orbach, was engaged
to marry Melvin. "He had the spirit of
a young man. He brought smiles and
laughter every time he walked in a room.
Everyone loved Melvin."
Mr. Dalbow served in the Army in
World War II and was stationed in Ireland,
France and England.
He worked for DuPont as a logistics
coordinator for more than 35 years.
He was married to his first wife, Irene
(Lomas), for 62 years and remained by
her side through her 10-year battle with
Alzheimer's. Following her death, he was
encouraged to get out and travel and learn
new things. At age 86, he took up ballroom
dancing. At 90, he focused on watercolor
paintings, especially flowers. He eventually
went on a cruise, where met his fiancee,
Evelyn. The two held a commitment cer-
emony just two weeks before his death.
Mr. Dalbow is survived by his beloved
fiancee, Evelyn Orbach; son and daughter-
in-law, Melvin and Dawn Dalbow. He is
also survived by Evelyn's children, Lila
Lazarus, Judy and Paul Chamberlin,
Sharon and Howard Quarters, and Richard
Orbach.

ALVIN DELIDOW, 73, of Southfield, died
Aug. 8, 2012.
He is survived by his beloved wife,
Marcia Delidow of Southfield; daughters
and sons-in-law, Wendy and Dan Christie
of Beverly Hills, Margo Delidow and Eric
Meier of the Bronx, N.Y.; brothers and
sister-in-law, Stanley and Carol Delidow
of Gaylord, Norton Delidow of West
Bloomfield; sisters-in-law, Barbara and
Jack Dorfman, Myra and Gary Shapiro,
Jeanne Delidow; grandchildren, Evelyn
and Scott Christie; many loving nieces,
nephews, other loving family members
and friends.
Mr. Delidow was the brother-in-law of
the late Arlene Delidow.

HELEN GOLDSTEIN,
82, of Novi, formerly of
Wynnewood, Pa., passed
away peacefully on Aug.
12, 2012.
Mrs. Goldstein was
an accomplished artist
who lovingly devoted

sister, Dulce Fischer. Mrs. Goldstein is also
survived by loving family and friends in
Pennsylvania and Michigan.
She was the beloved wife for 62 years of
the late Stanford M. Goldstein; the dear
sister of the late Bernice Rosenblatt.
