RHEA BASS, 102, of
West Bloomfield,
died Aug. 2, 2012.
She is survived by
her son and daugh-
ter-in-law, Stuart
and Marlene Bass
of Boynton Beach,
Bass
Fla., daughter and
son-in-law, Loralei and Sandy Levine
of Southfield; sister, Edith Solomon
Weinstein of New York; grandchildren,
Sheri Schey, Ilene (Ben) Celniker,
Steve (Barbara) Fallen, Susan (Larry)
Oleinick, Jeffrey (Julie) Bass, Mark
Bass; great-grandchildren, Jamie
(Dan) Susskind, Jonathan Schey, Jared
Celniker, Aaron and David Oleinick,
Ariella and Gavin Fallen, Jake and Max
Bass; many loving nieces, nephews,
other family members and friends.
Mrs. Bass was the beloved wife of
the late George Bass.

Isaac Agree Downtown Synagogue or
to a charity of one's choice. Interment
took place at the Adat Shalom
Memorial Park Cemetery in Livonia.

DR. CARL
CARRON, 83, of
West Bloomfield,
died Aug. 1, 2012.
Dr. Carron was a
dentist in the Detroit
area for 43 years. He
will be remembered
Carron
for his amazing
sense of humor and storytelling. He
loved to sing and dance and was a
gentle man with an extremely loving,
compassionate, generous and sensitive
spirit. He adored his family and his
greatest pleasure came from spend-
ing time with his grandchildren and
great-grandchildren. He loved exercis-
ing and schmoozing with his friends
at the JCC Health Club, where he spent
a great majority of his time for the last
50 years.
He will be dearly missed by his lov-
ing wife of 63 years, Ann Carron. He
was the dear father of Robin (Mike)
Moscow, Randy (Zora) Carron, Dana
(Sheri) Carron; loving grandfather of
Jeff (Louisa) Moscow, Kelly (Joe) Gabry,
Michael (Darcie) Carron, Danny, Alexa,
Marc, Tova, Moshe and Eliyahu Carron;
loving great-grandfather of Miles, Tyler,
Mason, Parker and Vanessa. He is also
survived by his sister in law and broth-
ers in law, Sylvia and Abe Pearlman,
and Sol Lesnick; many nieces, nephews
and cherished friends.
Interment was held at the Adat
Shalom Memorial Park Cemetery
in Livonia. Contributions may be
made to a charity of one's choice.

GIL COHEN, 66, of
Farmington Hills,
passed away unex-
pectedly Aug. 2,
2012.
He was an insur-
ance agent for 35
years and an avid
Cohen
golfer. His humor
and kindness were evident and
revered by all who met him; his life
was a wonderful influence on all who
knew him.
Mr. Cohen was the beloved husband
of Marilyn Shifman Cohen for 43
years; dear father of Carrie (Daniel)
Rudman, and Kimberly Cohen
Metzger; loving papa of Aaron, Sarah
and Jordan Rudman; devoted brother
of Edward (Jacqueline) Cohen; dear-
est brother-in-law of Susan Shifman
Lefkofsky and Margaret Cohen; dear
nephew of Esta Weisberg. He had
many loving nieces, nephews, other
family members and a world of close,
devoted friends.
Mr. Cohen was the brother of the
late Joe Leonard Cohen.

of one's choice. Interment took place
at the Adat Shalom Memorial Park
Cemetery in Livonia. Arrangements by

ILIA CZERKASSKI,
96, of West
Bloomfield, died
Aug. 5, 2012.
He became a cap-
tain in the Russian
Army. He came to
the United States in
Czerkasski
1965 and he and his
C. 1952
wife then brought
their extended fam-
ily to the United
States.
Mr. Czerkasski
is survived by his

daughter and son-
in-law, Barbara and Jon Kaner of
West Bloomfield; his daughter's sister,
Danuta Szumowska. He is also sur-
vived by the extended family that he
and his wife brought to the United
States.

interment were held at Beth Tefilo
Emanuel Cemetery in Ferndale.
