HOWARD SIDNEY
HOLZMAN, passed
away peacefully in his
home July 7, 2012.
He will be remem-
bered as the popular
Buz Holzman, photog-
rapher, who had the
Holzman
pleasure of recording
many happy simchahs
for members of the community. He
was actively engaged with the Detroit
Professional Photographers of Detroit
and served years on their board and as
their president.
His love of baseball also earned him
the joy of spending time each February
in Florida photographing the Tiger
Fantasy Camp participants and the
many players from past days of Tiger
glory.
Mr. Holzman is remembered with
love by his wife, Eileen; their children,
Larry, Ethan and Rebecca, and Emily;
grandsons, Jacob and Joseph Holzman,
Miles and Hugh Camiener; grand-
daughter, Levi Holzman; loving neph-
ews and nieces, grandnephews and
grandnieces.
He was the son of the late Betty and
the late Irving Holzman; brother of the
late Sheridan Holzman.
Contributions may be made to the
Jeffrey Camiener Memorial Fund at
the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan
Detroit or a charity of one's choice.
Interment took place at the Beth
El Memorial Cemetery in Livonia.

KERIMOVA, 84, of
Southfield, died June
11, 2012.
She was born in
Baku, Azerbaijan,
and came to the U.S.
in 1992. She was a
loving and devoted
wife, mother, grandmother and great-
grandmother.
Mrs. Kerimova is survived by her
daughter, Ganira (Abram) Sumkhayev
of Southfield; daughter, Ellada
Sherman of Southfield; son, Asaf
(Faina) Kerimov of Brooklyn, N.Y.; son,
Igor Kerimov of Southfield; daughter,
Julia (Bruce) Burnham of Bloomfield
Hills; grandchildren, Zoya Sproles,
Liana and Elina Sherman, Elvis (Mira)
Kerimov, Hasiya (Said) Badalov, Chava
Sumkayeva, Namik Kerimov and
Benjamin Burnham; great-grandchil-
dren, Liliyan and Elan Badalov; sister,
Tanya Naftalieva; nephews, Rafael and
Robert, Shamay Isakov Jr.
She was beloved wife of the late
Nakhshum Kerimov; devoted daughter
of the late Hayat and the late Shamay
Isakov Sr.; caring sister of the late
Nazkhanum Bashirova and the late
Peter Isakov; cherished mother of the
late Natella Kerimova.
Interment was at Hebrew Memorial
Park. Arrangement by Hebrew
Memorial Chapel.
SIDNEY M. LEVINE, 90, of Southfield,
died July 5, 2012.
He was a CPA with Grant
Thornton. Mr. Levine earned his art
history degree from Wayne State
University in 1990 at the age of 65; he
was the owner of Town Center Gallery
in the Town Center in Southfield and
painted with Ben Glicker.
Mr. Levine is survived by his wife
of 68 years, Evelyn Levine; daughter
and son-in-law, Lauren and Fred Levy
of Illinois; sons and daughters-in-law,
Richard and Janette Levine of Troy, and
Paul and Sharon Levine; grandchildren,
Jon and Lisa Levy, Alissa and Jin-Ho
Chung, Dana and Jeff Fehr, Michael
Levine, Stephanie Levine, Jennifer
Levine, Elisheva Levine and fiance,
Anthony Mosko, Shoshana Levine and
fiance, Scott Abromovich; great-grand-
children, Daniella, Tessa, Maya, Ava,
Tyler and David; brother, David Levine;
sisters and brothers-in-law, Sara and
Benny Bar Moshe, and Harriet and
Seymour Sandweiss; nieces, nephews
and friends.
Mr. Levine was the dear brother-
in-law of the late Evie Levine, the late
Morris and the late Sally Krut, the late
Mickey Schneider and the late Philip
Schneider.

Mrs. Luke was the daughter of the
late Harry Milgrom.
