Beth El Installs
New Officers
On June 28, Dr. Raymond A. Rosenfeld
was installed as president of Temple
Beth El in Bloomfield Township.
Rosenfeld and his family have been
members for 26 years since moving to
Michigan from Tulsa, Okla. Here, he has
effectively combined a career in aca-
demia with service to his community.
He was a member of the board of trust-
ees from 1992-1995.
Rosenfeld and his
wife, Janelle
McCammon, are past
presidents of the
Temple's Married
Group. They current-
ly serve on the execu-
tive board of the
,
Raymond
Great Lakes Chamber
Rosenfeld
Music Festival.
Other officers
installed were L. Steven Weiner, first
vice president; David Foltyn, E. Todd
Sable and Jordon Wertheimer, vice pres-
idents; Robin Fenberg, treasurer; and
Liz Modell, secretary. Newly installed
board members are Barbra Bloch, Jim
Hiller, Maxine Lievois, Lisa London,
Rochelle Nelson, Warren Rose, Cathy
Segel, Barbara Shaya and Sara Tatchio.
Serving on the 2012 Nominating
Committee are David Handleman,
chair, Mark Cooperman, Joan Jampel
and Lee Turner.

Yad Erza Hosts
Video Contest
From July 16-Aug. 6, Yad Ezra is spon-
soring a "Getting Smart About Hunger"
video contest. Participants of all ages
are invited to make a video of up to 30
seconds using a smart phone. The video
should relate to the issue of hunger.
Voting for the winning entries will
take place on Facebook.com/yadezra .
Participants must LIKE Yad Ezra on
Facebook to be eligible. Videos with the
most Likes/Shares will win a prize. The
winning entries will be announced on
Aug. 20.
Videos should be sent to ian@
yadezra.org by Aug. 6. Include name,
address, phone, email and write in the
subject line: A world without hunger.
