Friendship Circle
Sandcastle Competition
Friendship Circle is hosting its first
"Sandcastle Building Competition"
on Friday, July 13, from 3-6 p.m. on
the grounds of Friendship Circle in
West Bloomfield. Tons of sand will be
trucked in and dumped as corporate
teams square off in a 10-foot-by-10-

Numerous local corporations have
paid $500 to participate and are send-
ing teams of 10 people who are vying
to become "King of Their Castle."
Friendship Circle photographers
will take pictures of each group's sand-
castles and the photos will be posted
on the Friendship Circle Blog (blog.
friendshipcirde.org)
The site, which receives 30,000 visits
per month, will be available for voters
to peruse and vote for their top choice.
Voting begins on Monday, July 16, and
runs through Thursday, July 19, at 5

Friday, July 20.
