FRANK SINGER, 90, passed away peace- fully at his home in Southfield, June 23, 2012. He was host and producer of the long- running, award-win- Singer ning series Focus on Seniors for Southfield's City Cable 15; author of the book Help! I Woke up a Senior Citizen and Don't Know What to Do, writer/publisher of the community newsletter "Spotlight on Seniors," advi- sory board member of the Institute of Gerontology, Wayne State University. For his tireless work as a senior and on behalf of seniors, Aug. 29 was declared "Frank Singer Day" by Southfield's Mayor Brenda Lawrence. A World War II Veteran, Mr. Singer served proudly with the Army's 127th General Hospital Division, mainly in France. He was a business graduate of the City College of New York, worked primarily in sales and marketing in the paper and plastics industry. Son of Elsie and Jack Singer of Brooklyn, he was married for 60 years to his beloved wife, Helen. Mr. Singer is survived by sons, Robert and Steven; grandchildren, Chelsea, Paolo, Julie, Matteo, Jason and Sofia; and sister, Gertrude. Interment was at Beth El Memorial Park. Arrangements by Ira Kaufman Chapel. ROBERT STOLLMAN, 51, of Farmington Hills, died June 21, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Sheryl Stollman; mother, Barbara Stollman; son, Ben Stollman of Farmington Hills; daughters, Ariel Stollman of Farmington Hills, Carrie Stollman of Farmington Hills; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Anita Stollman of Commerce; sister and brother-in-law, Susie and Jerry Zimberg of Boca Raton, Fla.; brothers- in-law and sisters-in-law, Susie and Yossi Kellman, Julie and Steve Kupsov; many loving nieces and nephews, Seth, Mathew and Jennifer, Carly Stollman, Aaron, Jennifer and Daniel Zimberg, Demi Schorre Chesky Schorre, Chana, Benyomin Kellman, Jaron Kupsov; great-uncle, Jerry Richman; great- niece, Rreena Rochel Schorre. Mr. Stollman was the dear son of the late Hyman Stollman; dear son-in-law of the late Carole Hollander and the late Erwin Hollander.
