DINOSAURS ALIVE!
Future paleontologists can get up
close and personal with a 30-foot
Albertosaurus, the apex predator of the
late Cretaceous period, a 39-foot Late
Jurassic Allosaurus or the meat-eating
late Cretaceous Carnosaurus, whose
arms were even shorter than a T. Rex.
New this year, these animatronic prehis-
toric creatures — along with 47 more
— inhabit a 4.5-acre wooded island
at Cedar Point in a permanent attrac-
tion, Dinosaurs Alive! on Adventure
Island. Handcrafted and multi-sensory,
the exhibit is also interactive, with some
dinosaurs featuring consoles that will let
guests guide their movement as well as
paleontological digs and other special
events. $5 with paid admission to Cedar
Point. While you're there, pick up Cedar
Point's new Fast Lane tickets, which
speed you through the lines at more than
20 of the park's most popular rides. Call
or go online for pricing.
