Bartlett Award for
Michaels
Excellence in
Musical Theatre at
SUNY Fredonia, where she recently
received her BFA in musical the-
ater. She also has been awarded a
post-graduate Merit Scholarship by
the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland,
where she has been accepted into the
master's of arts in Classical and
Contemporary Text [Acting]
Programme. She will be moving to
Glasgow in September to begin her
post-graduate studies. Lisa is the
daughter of Melodee and Dr. Anthony
Michaels of Bloomfield Hills.

David H. Fink, managing partner
of Bloomfield Hills-based Fink and
Associates Law, has been named presi-
dent of the Bloomfield Hills Schools
Foundation. He also serves on the
Michigan State Officers Compensation
Commission (SOCC), the board of
directors of Jewish Family Services of
Metropolitan Detroit and the Michigan
State Bar Committee on Judicial
Qualifications.

Common Ground has unveiled a
special chair to honor a volunteer, the
late Marsha Zucker. She served for
26 years as a volunteer on Common
Ground's 24-hour crisis and resource
helpline. To recognize her work, the
agency dedicated a special chair in her
honor at Doctor's Hospital in Pontiac,
where she answered the crisis tele-
phone.

Providence, R.I. This
induction was in

After leaving Rhode Island, Berkowitz

stations WHYT, WJR and WKQI before
opening his consultancy based in West
Bloomfield.

Dr. Scot F. Goldberg, a Warren inter-
nal medicine specialist, was re-elected
to the Michigan State Medical Society
(MSMS) Board of Directors. He will
serve another three-year term on the
45-member MSMS Board, represent-
ing physicians from Macomb and
Oakland counties. Goldberg is on staff
at St. John Macomb Hospital.

Members of Frankel Jewish Academy's Chesed Committee attended the 2012
Michigan Week Awards Ceremony, which acknowledges outstanding service
to the community. FJA seniors Freya Gothelf and Scott Wasserman received
individual awards, and the entire group received recognition for its commitment
to helping those in need.
