Farmington Hills
will become a bat
mitzvah at Adat
Shalom Synagogue
in Farmington Hills
Strauss
on Saturday, June 2.
Participating in the
ceremony will be her parents, Amy
and David Strauss; her brother Nate;
and many aunts, uncles, cousins and
other family members. Proud grand-
parents are Sharon and Jordan Strauss

of Rockville, Md., and Willard and
Arlene Plotkin of Laguna Beach, Calif.
She is also the granddaughter of the
late Carol Plotkin.
Caroline is a student at O.E. Dunckel
Middle School in Farmington Hills.
Her most meaningful mitzvah project
was volunteering each week at the
West Bloomfield-based Friendship
Circle.

Todd will be called
to the Torah on
Saturday, June 2, at
Congregation Beth
Israel in Ann Arbor
to celebrate her
becoming a bat mit-
Todd
vah. She is the
daughter of Eric and
Mihaela Todd and the sister of proud
brother Connor. Sharing in this special
day will be her grandmother Elizabeth
Cazan. Jamie is also the granddaughter
of the late Sandra Davis and the great-
granddaughter of the late Jean and the
late Sol Wander.
Jamie is finishing the sixth grade at
Emerson School in Ann Arbor, and her
mitzvah project involved volunteering
at the Huron Valley Humane Society.
