NEW GUIDELINES FOR
CALENDAR LISTINGS

Send listings by noon Tuesday, nine
days prior to publication. Email listings
and questions regarding the Calendar to
calendar@thejewishnews.com .
For telephone inquiries, call David Sachs
at (248) 351-5140.

Although we would like to give equal
space to all events we receive, we have
limited room in our print Calendar, so
publication of events will be at the
discretion of the editor.

ADDITIONAL JN PUBLICITY:

• You may also submit your event to our
free online Community Calendar on the
JN website: www.thejewishnews.com . Go
to the word "Calendar" across the top
toolbar and, on the drop-down menu, click
on "New Calendar Event." First-time users
will be asked to register.

• In addition, you may publicize your
event on the JN Facebook page at www.
Facebook.com/DetroitJewishNews. (The
JN Facebook page can also be accessed
by clicking on the "f" (Facebook) icon
at the bottom of the JN website home
page.) Once on Facebook, type your event
information under the small green "Post"
icon next to the large JN logo, in the box
that reads, "Write something." You may
include a link to your own website.

• For even greater impact, consider
placing a small, medium or large
advertisement in our print edition. The
JN sales team offers options to fit any
budget. Please call Keith Farber, sales
director, at 248-351-5107 or email him at
kfarber®renmedia.us.

If you have questions, email calendar®
thejewishnews.com or phone David Sachs,
senior copy editor, at 248-351-5140.
