Maple Road in West Bloomfield. The two men will be honored with the JCC's Boneh Kehillah (Builder of the Community) Award for their dedi- cation to the community and the city. The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with a tribute to the honorees, followed at 6:30 by the Capitol Steps in "The Lighter Side of Politics" and then a strolling dinner and auction, including a 2012 Corvette convertible. The cost is $200 per person, and all proceeds will benefit children's pro- gramming at the JCC. Greenberg has a long history with the Jewish Community Center of Metropolitan Detroit, including serv- ing as president, vice president and on the JCC Board of Directors. The president of General Motors North America since 2009, Reuss is responsible for GM's performance, manufacturing, portfolio and dealer network in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Friendship Circle Plans 'Great Bike Giveaway' Friendship Circle of Michigan's "Great Bike Giveaway' will give 18 specially adapted bikes to special boys and girls. Director Bassie Shemtov says, "Many parents cannot afford these specially made bikes and our goal is to help put more fun and freedom into as many children's lives as possible by giving them their own bicycles:' Each contest entrant must visit Friendship Circle of Michigan's Facebook page and submit a picture of their child or a creative photo, which portrays why their family wants or needs an adaptive bike. Submissions may be made up until May 10. The contest runs through May 18. The top 14 entrants with the high- est total of votes will win their very own specially adaptive bicycle.
