Name Telesco Abbey Carpet and Floor

Floored!

Sylvan Lake store has extensive selection to meetyour needs.

J

eff Telesco has been in the
flooring business all his life.
The former longtime general
manager of Franklin Floors opened
his own company, Telesco Abbey
Carpet and Floor, in Sylvan Lake
in 2009, after his former employer
went out of business. He brought
his former co-workers to his new
company, and they've been providing
full-service flooring to Oakland
County customers ever since.
Telesco has a large selection of
wool carpets and hardwoods and
custom runners.
"We work with a lot of high-end
builders and designers," Telesco says.
"They trust our selection and our
staff to help them choose the right
materials and products to meet their
needs."

All of the salespeople at Telesco are
former installers and do their own
measurements, so the customer is
always guaranteed the best service.
Telesco saw business drop off
during the Great Recession. In
recent months, however, Telesco says
he has noticed an uptick.
Among Telesco's customers,
hardwoods are still a huge seller.
"Carpeting is always popular, and

bamboo and cork are also gaining in
popularity," he says.
Abbey Carpet offers the highest
quality styles and brand name
carpets in the industry.
In March, Telesco added a
new product to his sprawling
8,000-square-foot showroom:
closet organization systems. These
modular systems maximize the
space in a standard closet and can
be customized for each individual.
They also cost a fraction of
what a traditional custom closet
organization system costs.
"We have products for every price
point," Telesco says. "Come into
our showroom, and you will find
something to fit your lifestyle and
your budget." nt]
