'We go to their home, show them
photos, look at photos they've
collected, decide whether the design
will be for a new home or recreating
an existing home," says Ketty. "Then
our architect visits, takes photos and
creates the whole design on paper,
so we can go over everything, step-
by-step, with the client. In the end, I
can't tell you how often they say, 'How
did you know what we were thinking?
You read my mind.' I love that."
Creative Brick is equipped with
a staff of more than 40 employees,
headed by the brothers. John, a
landscape designer, offers a talent
and passion for enhancing each
individual site's specific natural
surroundings as well as the
interaction between the individual
and their environment.
"His goal is to eliminate the
boundaries between interior and
exterior spaces," says Alex, whose
own expertise lies in landscape
construction. An affinity for detail
and using simple, natural materials

landscape architects, who can design
anything to do with the outdoors,
