Funeral Home in Detroit. Barry died in an accidental discharge of a loaded pistol at the home of a young friend. His parents were preparing for his Bar Mitzvah, which would have been Feb. 19. The mother had first charged discrimination, saying Barry's classmates in the Tappan School have refused to play with him. But she accepted the verdict of accidental death on Saturday evening when the playmate in whose home the tragedy occurred related the entire story of the incident. Published by the Republican National Committee (RNC), the recommendations urged a policy for national security and peace in which "immigration laws must be an aid and not a hindrance to an effective foreign policy." It was recommended that immigration laws be made "a service of renewal and replenishment of the springs of creative activity in our society." Scoring Mumford's touchdowns were Jim Sessions, Willie Binion, Frank Goldberg and Dick Bookhoff. Mumford's tankers sank Pershing last Thursday, 75-15. Seeing first for Mumford were Jerry Sanders, Allen Jones, Marty Deutsch, Allan Katz, John Holmes, Fred Doner and Marty Chattman and the medley and freestyle relay teams.
