r. and Mrs. Howard Ellman of
Bloomfield Hills are delighted
to announce the engagement
of their son Michael Brian to Julie Marie
Dickens, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cliff
Dickens of Lake Zurich, Ill.
Julie graduated from the University of
Iowa with a bachelor's degree in nursing
and recently received a master's degree as
a pediatric nurse practitioner from Rush
University Medical Center in Chicago.
She is employed at Rush University in the
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
Michael received his bachelor's degree
and M.D. from the University of Michigan. He is a fourth-year resident in ortho-
pedic surgery at Rush University Medical Center and is planning to pursue a
career in sports medicine.
An October wedding is planned in Chicago.

Kenny were recently married in
Evanston, Ill.
The bride is the daughter of Linda and
Will Kenny of Robbinsdale, Minn. The
groom is the son of Howard and Carol
Ellman of Bloomfield Hills.
The happy couple honeymooned at the
Grand Canyon and reside in Evanston, Ill.

eborah and Jonathan Eber of
West Bloomfield are thrilled to
announce the engagement of
their son Michael Samuel Eber to Michelle
Julie Jacobson, the daughter of Annette and
Scott Ernstein of Houston, Texas, and the
late Donny Jacobson.
Michelle graduated magna cum laude
from the University of Pennsylvania
with a B.S.E. in systems engineering and
earned her J.D. with honors and M.B.A.
from the University of Texas at Austin. She is
a patent attorney with the law firm of Baker
Botts LLP in Houston.
Michael graduated from the University of Michigan. He is earning a J.D.
degree from the University of Houston Law Center and a master's in public
health in healthcare management from the University of Texas Health Science
Center.
An October wedding is planned in Houston.
