Kaufman Family Assists
Teen Mission To Israel

The Jewish Federation of Metropolitan
Detroit has received a donation from the
Sue and Alan J. Kaufman family for its 2012
Teen Mission to Israel.
"We are very excited to have over 100
teens from our community participate in
this biennial program, and are extremely
fortunate to have leadership like the
Kaufmans who make it possible,' com-
ments Douglas Bloom, President of the
Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit.
The Sue and Alan J. Kaufman family
are among other community families and
donors who previously sponsored the Teen
Mission, most recently including Sam and
Jean Frankel, the Ben Teitel Charitable Trust
and the Sherman Family Israel Experience
Fund.
Federation's Eighth Teen Mission to
Israel, July 3-Aug. 3, will involve more than
120 Metro Detroit high school teens. The
trip is led by participating community rab-
bis and includes Israeli teen interaction.
A few seats are available. Visit www.
jewishdetroit.org/TM12 or contact Rachel
Taubman, (248) 205-2545 or taubman@

Rocky Horror Returns

To The Big Screen
Adam Gottlieb of West Bloomfield was
looking for a way to bring people together
in Metro Detroit. He recalled his Friday
nights spent at the Prudential Town Center
movie theater in Southfield when he and
his high school friends would gather to
watch the cult classic film The Rocky Horror
Picture Show.
Nostalgia Events, founded by Gottlieb,
will be presenting a reunion of sorts at
9 p.m. and midnight, Saturday, March
24, when The Rocky Horror Picture Show
will be screened at the Farmington Civic
Theater in downtown Farmington.
For discounted pre-sale tickets, visit
www.rockyhorrormichigan.com or the
event's Facebook page at www.facebook.
