Melaas-Kunzendorf

K

eith and Karen Melaas of Oxford
announce with joy the engage-
ment of their son Eli to Rebecca
Kunzendorf, daughter of Elizabeth Ritvo and
Robert Kunzendorf of Newton Highlands,
Mass.
Eli is completing a Ph.D. program in envi-
ronmental science and geography at Boston
University.
"Becca" is a recent graduate of Boston
College of Law. She is employed in Boston by
the firm of Edwards, Wildman and Palmer.
The pair met while undergraduate stu-
dents on study abroad in Budapest, Hungary.
Eli and Becca reside in Brighton, Mass. A November wedding at Gibbett Hill
in Groton, Mass., is planned.
The couple plan to continue residence in the Boston area.

Bennett Hegleman were married at
Gedney Farm in New Marlborough,

Mass.
Lindsay, 29, is the daughter of Denise
and Richard Zuckerman of Farmington
Hills. She is an event-marketing manager
at Turner Broadcasting System Inc. in New
York City, and a graduate of the University
of Wisconsin-Madison.
Joe, 33, is an executive at Ron Shapiro
Management in New York City. He also owns
a music consulting company that includes
Gap, Mattel and Turner Broadcasting as
clients. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan. He is the son of Kathryn
and Barry Karson of New York City and Monterey, Mass., and the late Stewart
Hegleman.
Following a honeymoon in South Africa, the couple reside in New York City.

ana Stern and Aviv Vered were
recently married at Ahuzat Tal in
Ashdod, Israel.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs.
Milton Stern of Bloomfield Hills. The groom
is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Eitan Vered of
Ashdod, Israel. They were thrilled to honor
their love for one another with both fami-
lies.
Aviv recently relocated to the United
States, and the couple will reside in
Bloomfield Hills.
