their 50th anniversary on Oct. 8
with their beloved children, cher-
ished grandchildren and friends. The cele-
bration continued as Elaine shared her 70th
birthday with her grandson Justin Sherman
as he became a bar mitzvah on Jan. 21.

aurie Reizen of Okemos is cel-
ebrating his 93rd birthday with
his wife, Leanor, in the Florida
Keys, where he loves to fish. When they
return home, the birthday celebration will
continue with their children, Mark and
Jen Reizen, Nancy and Howard Serlin, and
Bruce Reizen, and their grandchildren, Jason
Reizen, Jennifer Matley, Daniel and Miry
Serlin, and David and Dana Serlin. Also
joining the festivities will be their great-
grandchildren, Andrew and Leia Serlin, Lucy
and Olivia Serlin, and Griffin, Molly and
Cameron Matley.

Lori Danielle Tapper to Daniel Michael
Lerner, son of Dr. Peter and Laraine Lerner
of Brookfield, Conn.
Lori earned her bachelor's of science
degree in kinesiology from the University
of Michigan and her medical degree from
Midwestern University in Downers Grove,
Ill. She is a first-year resident in family
medicine at West Suburban Medical Center

Daniel earned his bachelor's of science
degree in life science from the Pennsylvania State University and a master's of
science degree in biomedical science from Midwestern University, where he is
completing his medical degree.
Lori and Daniel reside in Chicago, where a May wedding is planned.
