RITA S. ROSS, 90, of

Southfield, died Jan. 25,
2012.
She is survived by
her daughters and son-
in-law, Marcia Ross
of Southfield, Gaile
and Marvin Mailer

of West Palm Beach,
Fla.; brother, Harvey Tanner; grandchil-
dren, Betsy (Glenn) Schulman, Brian
(Rebecca) Mailer; great-grandchildren,
Zachary, Zoe, Joshua, Ethan and Peyton;
many loving nieces, nephews, other
family members and friends.
Mrs. Ross was the beloved wife of the
late Sol Ross.
Contributions may be made to a char-
ity of one's choice. Interment took place
at the Machpelah Cemetery in Ferndale.
Arrangements by Dorfman Chapel.

JENOE ROTH, 96, of

Huntington Woods, died

He is survived by

Mr. Roth was the dear brother and
brother-in-law of the late Joe Roth and the
late Rose Roth, the late Shawney Roth.

SCHWARTZ, 92, of

Max Schwartz, Samantha Schwartz, Joey
Schwartz, Scott and Melissa Seltzer, Sheri

and Joel Lopez; four great-grandchildren;
sister, Joie Krauss; sisters-in-law and
brother-in-law, Sarah Lampert, Rudy and
Roseanne Simons; many loving nieces and
nephews.
Mr. Schwartz was the beloved husband
of the late Shirley Schwartz; the loving
brother of the late Abraham Schwartz and
the late Oscar Schwartz; the dear brother-
in-law of the late Burnett Krauss and the
late Seymour Lampert.
Interment was held at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be made
to the Nathan and Seymour Simons
Scholarship Fund, do Agency for Jewish
Education, 6735 Telegraph Road, #370, P.O.
Box 2031, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48301; or
a charity of one's choice. Arrangements by

SAMUEL SCHWEITZER, 85, passed

away peacefully on Jan. 19, 2012, in his
home in Camarillo, Calif., with his wife,
Annette, by his side.
Sam was adored for his larger-than-life
personality. Stories of his rambunctious
childhood and six siblings in Philadelphia,
Pa., were a source of constant entertain-
ment. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he
eventually relocated to Michigan. He loved

running with friends at the West Bloomfield
JCC and competed in 16 marathons.
Mr. Schweitzer co-owned and operated
Seaboard Investigations and Polygraph
Inc. in Detroit and then Seaboard
Polygraph Inc. in San Diego. He conducted
over 50,000 polygraph examinations. He is
remembered for his humor and loyalty.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58
years, Annette; siblings, Ida Sweeney and
Stanley Martin; brother-in-law, Seymour
Yarows; children, Doug, Howard and Julie;
daughters-in-law, Barbara and Susan; son-
in-law, Michael Rogawski; grandchildren,
Jessica, Monica and Alex, all of California.
