Southfield, died Jan. 26, 2012.
He is survived by his sons and
daughters-in-law, Sanford and Susan
Krasner of Altadena, Calif., Sharon
Krasner of Huntington Woods; daughter
and son-in-law, Enid Krasner and Allan
Rothenberg of Philadelphia, Pa.; brother,
William Krasner of Evansville, Ind.;
grandchildren, Tzvi Krasner, Talya and
Benyomin Jacobovitz, Gedalia Krasner,
Sara Krasner, James Krasner.
Mr. Krasner was the beloved husband
of the late Helen Krasner; loving father
of the late Brian Krasner; dear brother-
in-law of the late Thelma Krasner.

Fla., formerly of Detroit, died Jan. 27,
2012.

and Peter Smith of Pittsboro, N. C.;
grandchildren, Lauren and Jonathan
Ostacher, Marjorie Schulman, Jeffrey

great-grandchildren, Lindsay Ostacher,
Sydney and Tobey Schulman and Owen
Hatton Smith.
Mr. Krops was the beloved husband of
the late Esther Krops.
Interment was held at Adat Shalom

Marcuson
JACK J.
MARCUSON,
87, and VIVIAN
MARCUSON,
85, of Livonia,
were in hospice
care at home
and died within
days of each
other after 66
years of marriage.
They are survived by their son, Randy
Marcuson; grandchildren, Beth and
Bryan Schlussel, Amanda Marcuson
and Hunter Marcuson; great-grandson,
Brennan Parker Schlussel; daughter-in-
law, Debbie Marcuson; Jack's sister, Esther
Lipman; Vivian's sisters, Claire Bergad
and Charlotte Spero Sukolsky; Vivian's
brother and sister-in-law, Alexander and
Irene Spero; their sister-in-law, Gertrude
Marcuson. They are also survived by
Cally Marcuson; their caregivers at Angela
Hospice, Martha and Angie; as well as Kim
and Mike at the Veterans Administration.
Mr. Marcuson was the devoted son
of the late Phillip and the late Mary
Marcuson; and Mrs. Marcuson was the
devoted daughter of the late Sidney
and the late Gloria Spero. They were
the beloved parents of the late Phillip
Marcuson and the proud grandparents of
the late Benjamin Marcuson.
Mr. and Mrs. Marcuson were pre-
deceased by the late William Marcuson,
the late Charlotte Levy, the late Rabbi
Eugene Lipman and the late Dr. Saul
Bergad.
Interment at Oakview Cemetery.

BERNICE MARK, 88, of Ann Arbor, died
Jan. 28, 2012.
She taught Spanish and English in
Ironwood and Bessemer, Mich., and was
the coordinator in technical services for
the Graduate Library at the University of
Michigan.

Mrs. Mark was the caterer and kitchen
coordinator at Beth Israel Congregation in
Ann Arbor for 20 years. She was a mem-
ber of Temple Beth Emeth, a past presi-
dent of the temple's sisterhood, secretary
to the board of directors and head of the
gift shop.
Mrs. Mark was honored for her ser-
vice to Temple Beth Emeth and was
a member of the Jewish Community
Center. She was an active volunteer at the
University of Michigan Cancer Center and
McDonald House and was a life member
of Hadassah.
She is survived by her daughters
and son-in-law, Betsy Mark and Mark
Soverinsky of Ypsilanti, Ann Mark of Ann
Arbor; son and daughter-in-law, Ira B. and
Sarah V. Mark of Ann Arbor; granddaugh-
ter, Rachel R. Mark.
Mrs. Mark was the beloved wife of the
late Harold Mark; the devoted daughter
of the late Ike Berton Barnett and the late
Rachel Barnett.
Interment was held at Arborcrest
