Alan Ruby. She is the
sister of Jayme and Jacob. Sharing in
the simchah will be her proud grand-
parents Roz and Leon Levine and
Linda and Bob Ruby.
Lauren attends Bloomfield Hills
Middle School. She designed and sold
BHMS apparel for the Matthew Bittker
Foundation to benefit pediatric cancer
research and felt this was the most sig-
nificant of her mitzvah projects.

and Shirley and Dr. Jerold Shagrin.
Max is a student at Berkshire
Middle School in Birmingham. He felt
volunteering at the Humane Society of
Michigan was a meaningful mitzvah
project.

ents, Robin and
Howard Schwartz, are very proud. Her
grandparents are Rona and Herman
Schwartz and the late Joan and the late
Eugene Bortnick.
Samantha is a sixth-grader at
Yeshivat Akiva in Southfield. Her mitz-
vah project has been a part of who
she is, visiting Fleishman Residence in
West Bloomfield to sing and meet the
residents.

r. and Mrs. Bryan Booker of
Holland, Mich., announce the
engagement of their daughter
Ingrid Elizabeth to Zachary Gordon Shook,
son of Thomas Shook of Clawson and
Pamela Shook of Oxford.
Ingrid received bachelor's and master's
degrees in accounting from the Eli Broad
School of Business at Michigan State
University. She is employed as an accountant
with Sportvision Inc. of Chicago.
Zachary graduated from Michigan State
University with a bachelor's degree from the
James Madison College of Public Affairs. He also received a juris doctor degree
from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago. He is practicing with the law
firm of Cray Huber Horstman Heil &VanAusdal LLC in Chicago.
An Aug. 4 wedding is planned in Muskegon.
