Bette and Avery Shapiro; grandchil-

Schoenfeld, Emily (Mark) Eaton,
Bradley and Brett Kifferstein; great-
grandchildren, Marley and Jonah
Eaton. She is also survived by her
devoted caregivers.
Mrs. Haas was the beloved wife
of the late Harold Haas; sister of the
late Esther (the late David) Gussin.
Contributions may be made to a
charity of one's choice. Interment
took place at the Beth El Memorial
Park in Livonia. Arrangements by
Dorfman Chapel.
JUNE KAMIL, 83,
of Bloomfield Hills,
died Jan. 17, 2012.
She was the
manager at Kamil
Orthopaedic
Group. Mrs.
Kamil was also a past president
of Temple Israel and was honored
by UAHC for her service to temple
and Reform Judaism. She was also
a past president and editor of the
newsletter for the Detroit chapter of
Hadassah as well as a Brownie, Girl
Scout and Cub Scout leader for her
children.
Mrs. Kamil is survived by her
daughters and sons-in-law, Leslie
Kamil and Jon Lockard of Ann
Arbor, Lisa Kamil and Roger
Shimmell of Bloomfield Hills, and
Flo and Ricky Dessen of New York;
son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Mark
and Barb Kamil of Commerce;
grandchildren, Joseph Kamil, Rita
Kamil and Jason Nager, Ricky
Kamil, Becky Kamil, Hannah Kamil,
Miriam Kamil, Jason Dessen and
Jamie Dessen; brother, Jacques
Levine of New York.
She was the beloved wife of the
late Dr. Richard Kamil; the dear
sister-in-law of the late Florence
Levine.
