At first stunned, Michelle was
finally able to respond "yes"
to his proposal and plans for a
September 2013 wedding are now
in the works.
"It all happened very fast,"
Unger said. "We walked out and I
saw cameras and our family and,
in the same moment, Eddie was
down on one knee proposing.
My dad videotaped the actual
engagement and you can see the
shock in my face."
"The whole thing was a
great set-up," said Tapper's vice
president, Steven Tapper. "It
was fun sharing the excitement.
Being part of the most special
moments in someone's life is very
meaningful."
Unger said she and Rubin had
talked about getting engaged, but
not where or when or how. "He
always said whenever it happened
it would be a surprise," she said.
"But I never imagined it happening
the way it did, and I wouldn't trade
it for anything. It was the perfect
way to start the next chapter of our
lives together." II
